Inspiration is the process to be encouraged to do something creative, or something that you haven’t done before. When we are inspired by someone this means that we are encouraged to do something that person has done. If you aspire to be like someone it means that you desire to be like that person.

Malala Yousafzai was born on the 12th July, 1997 Mingora Swat District of North west Pakistan. The name ‘Malala’ means sad and grief stricken. Malala’s father’s name is Ziauddin Yousafzai. He is a social activist. Her mother’s name is Tor Pekai Yousafzai and her siblings name’s are Alal and Khushal Yousafzai. Malala used to study in Edgbaston High School for she is a Sunni Islamic. In 2013 she won the Simone de Beauvoir Prize and the Sakharov prize for Freedom of thought, and in 2014 she won the Nobel peace prize. A south African activist nominated Malala for the international Children’s Peace Prize, and she won it. On November 2014, she was denounced by a group of Pakistan schools because of her book, ‘I am Malala’.

So a Taliban gunman shot her on the left side of her head. She survived, the shot did the opposite of what it was meant to do. For Malala was even more ambitious to speak up for women's/girl’s rights to education.

The world would have been worse if Malala hadn’t lived because then the woman and girls in Pakistan wouldn't have any hope of having an education. Then the Taliban, having done with Pakistan, would go to other countries enforcing the law that women and girls wouldn’t have any education. Therefore the Taliban would injure and kill people in their path, causing war between countries and the Taliban.

Malala inspires me to speak up for what I know is right, and that doing so, I must be brave to overcome obstacles that may block my path. She also inspires me to be the best that I can be to help those around me.
